Static QR codes never expire
The codes made here are static: your link or text is stored inside the pattern itself, so the code keeps working forever and no third-party redirect service can track scans or shut it down. The trade-off is that you cannot change the destination after printing โ if you need that, point the code at a URL you control and redirect it there.

Tips for reliable scanning
- Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background works best. Inverted (light on dark) codes fail on some scanners.
- Leave the quiet zone (margin) of at least 4 modules around the code.
- Shorter content makes a less dense code that is easier to scan โ shorten long URLs.
- For print, a code should be at least about 2 ร 2 cm (0.8 in); larger if it will be scanned from a distance.

Are these QR codes free for commercial use?
Yes. There are no fees, limits or watermarks, and the codes are yours to use anywhere, including on products and printed marketing.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes that contain your data directly, so they work as long as the content (e.g. your website) exists.
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
It encodes the network name, password and security type in the standard WIFI: format. Scanning it with a phone camera offers to join the network without typing the password.
Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser; the password is never uploaded or saved.
